E-T Staff Report

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. Homes are festooned with bright lights and beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Churches are filled with holiday music, grocery stores are stocked with egg nog and everyone just generally seems to be in happier moods this time of year.

For most families, the holiday season brings a slew of meaningful traditions. Does your family enjoy a special meal on Christmas Eve? Does Uncle Herb sit in front of the fireplace and read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas before the kids are tucked into their bed awaiting Santa’s arrival? Does Christmas Day bring an annual gathering of friends and family? We want to hear about your Christmas traditions. Submissions will be compiled and featured in the Christmas Day edition of the Empire-Tribune.

E-mail your special holiday traditions to news@empiretribune.com or mail to the Empire-Tribune at P.O. Box 958 Stephenville, TX 76401. Please include your name, phone number and the city in which you live. Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21.
