Movie lovers pay attention.

Friday night is your chance to bring your family to Stephenville City Park and catch a movie under the big Texas sky.

For the second year in a row the city is partnering with EMBARQ to host Movie in the Park, featuring Night at the Museum, rated PG. The movie stars Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney and will be shown on a 40 X 20-foot inflatable screen.

Drew Wells, director of community services, said he is excited to offer the family friendly event and is urging people to come out and enjoy the night. He suggests families bring lawn chairs, blankets and plenty of bug spray to ward off mosquitoes stirred up by recent rains.

“This is going to be a great night,” Wells said. “The city is proud to partner with EMRARQ to bring this event to the community.”

The movie will begin at 9 p.m. at the Birdsong Amphitheatre. Project Graduation 2008 will be on hand selling popcorn, drinks and candy. Admission is free.
