Those looking to dive into summer fun better think fast.

Splashville, the city of Stephenville's swimming pool and water park, has closed its doors to weekday swimmers, but there are still a few opportunities to enjoy a break from the still sweltering Texas heat.

Splashville will be open this Saturday from 1-7 p.m. and Sunday from 1-6 p.m. Daily admission rates of $4 per person will apply, with senior citizens rates of $3 per person for swimmers and spectators age 65 and older. Children two years old and younger will get to jump in for free.

Those wanting to dip in at a reduced rate can enjoy a twilight swim from 5-7 p.m. Saturday and 4-6 p.m. Sunday for just $2 per person.

The water park will reopen for the season's final weekend on Saturday, Sept. 4, from 1-7 p.m. and will also be open from 1-6 p.m. the following Sunday and on Labor Day.

For more information, contact Splashville during the hours listed above at (254) 918-2088 or the Stephenville Parks and Recreation Department during regular business hours, Monday - Friday, at 918-1295.
