The Stephenville Empire-Tribune is still taking entries for the Erath County Most Photogenic Children Calendar Contest.

Entrants may submit photos of children, ages five or younger when the photo was taken. The Oct. 31 entry deadline has been extended until Friday, Nov. 6, and the registration fee is just $10. Only one photo per child may be entered and copyrighted or Polaroid pictures will not be accepted.

Votes will be received until noon on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at a cost of 25 cents each. Proceeds will benefit Newspapers in Education (NIE), a program that puts local newspapers in classrooms across the county. Your ballot can be mailed to the E-T (donít forget to name your choice), or votes may be cast in person at the Stephenville Empire-Tribune office located at 590 E. South Loop.

All submitted photos will run in the Tuesday and Thursday editions to allow readers to choose their favorites. The 12 photos with the most votes will win a spot in the 2010 Erath County Most Photogenic Children Calendar and will be announced in the E-Tís Christmas Day edition.

The grand prize photo will appear on the calendarís cover and all 12 winners will be featured throughout. The grand prize winner will also receive a Nintendo Wii.
