Six individuals were arrested by officers of the Stephenville Police Department Saturday following a complaint of a loud music in the 1400 Block of W. Cain Street around 10 p.m.

When the responding officer approached the residence to address the noise ordinance violation, an open window led to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

According to Chief Roy Halsell of the Stephenville Police Department, when officers arrived at the scene, one witnessed an individual inside the apartment home rolling a marijuana cigarette.

The officer was granted permission to search the home.

The search relinquished one pound of marijuana, scales, drug paraphernalia and baggies containing about 39 grams of an unknown white crystal substance.

Halsell said that the baggies have been sent off for laboratory analysis and identification of the substance will take about two weeks.

Following the discovery, six individuals were arrested and booked into Erath County Jail.

Curry Bice, 20, and Samantha Thompson, 18, of Stephenville and Stormi Hicks, 22, of Dublin were each charged will possession of marijuana, under two ounces and released on a $1000 bond. Tanna Hulsey, 20, of Dublin was charged with possession of marijuana, under two ounces and possession of a dangerous drug; she was released on a total bond of $2500. Jerald Page, 20, and Jameson Burn, 25, of Stephenville were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, over four ounces but less than five pounds, both were released on a $5000 bond.
