The City of Hico council meeting will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at Hico City Hall.

City Administrator Lambert Little said a public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. before the council meeting begins to possibly amend a city ordinance regarding bed and breakfast issues along with signage in the community and limiting outdoor storage items for sale. A workshop will be held at 6:15 p.m. for consideration of renovating City Hall.

Final plat for Mesquite Hill subdivision, Baseball fields-report from ad hoc committee on parks, Adoption of a city logo, Adopting resolution 070907A entitled “Application for Participation in the Texas Short Term Asset Reserve Program” (TexSTAR), Adopting resolutions 070907B and 070907C, denying the ATMOS’s requested rate increase and authorizing the City to join with other municipalities in a coalition to intervene on the cities’ behalf with regards to ATMOS Energy’s latest Gas Contract Review, and, Discussion and possible action on authorizing the exchange of the 1-year-old Bobcat skid steer loader for a new unit at no cost.
