Stephenville police responded to an accident on Neblett Street early Tuesday morning. They arrived on scene to find a 1994 GMC Jimmy parked on top of a 2003 Ford station wagon.

Stephenville Police Chief Roy Halsell said the 17-year-old male driver was headed south on Neblett when he began backing up too fast. He struck the Ford and ended up on top of the vehicle.

Halsell said the Ford was unoccupied and neither the driver nor his 16-year-old passenger was injured. The driver was cited for no insurance and his vehicle was towed to Parham’s.
