E-T Staff Report

The Erath County Commissioners Court will meet Monday to discuss a topic, which has become the talk of the county. Following the meeting, local residents will be one step closer to purchasing beer and wine at local retailers for off premise consumption.

While the court is facing a rather short agenda, two of the nine items to be discussed are relevant to beer and wine sales in the county. The court will consider and/or approve fees for permits and filings for beer and wine sales, and also give consideration to rules and regulations for beer and wine sales in unincorporated areas of the county.

Other items of business will include discussions on air medical marketing and changes to the EMS building.

The court meets today at 9 a.m. in the Commissionersí Courtroom at the Courthouse, on the square in Stephenville.
