With gas prices finally slipping below $2 a gallon, $100 bucks will take you a lot farther now than it would just a couple of weeks ago. And with the holidays barreling around the corner, who would say no to an extra $100?

Area businesses are giving local shoppers a chance to do just that. And all you have to do to walk away with the extra cash is stop by a participating retailer, fill out an entry form and drop it in the Holiday Magic box. Thatís it - no mail-in rebate forms, no purchase necessary and you can enter as many times as you want.

The list of participating retailers is growing every day, but beginning Friday, you can look for drop boxes at The Agave, RPís Western Wear, Rustic Cowboy, Time to Bead, Richardís Jewelry and Stephenville New Holland.

And since youíre already there, why not pick up a few Christmas gifts for friends and family or even a little something for yourself?

The first name will be drawn on Friday, Nov. 28 and the winnerís name will appear in Sundayís paper. There will be five drawings in all, with the last winner announced on Sunday, Dec. 21.

There are, of course, a few details in the fine print. You must be 18 years old or older, employees or family members of employees of Erath Publishers are not eligible and the weekly winner has 48 hours to claim the prize.
