Nine individuals were indicted by an Erath County grand jury Wednesday on charges ranging from possession of a controlled substance to theft and forgery.

Those indicted include:

• Evaristo Arroyo, 22, for possession of a controlled substance in penalty group one, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

• Douglas Albert Burris, Jr., 46, for theft, less than $1,500 with two prior convictions.

• Cameron Zane Childress, 22, for possession of a controlled substance in penalty group one, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

• Brenton Cullem Cox, 25, for possession of a controlled substance in penalty group two, more than four grams but less than 400, a second-degree felony.

• Colby Lynn Elmore, 21, for possession of a controlled substance in penalty group one, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.

• Eddie Allen Hightower, 26, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, enhanced, a second-degree felony.

• Levi Cody Kelley, 33, for theft of service, $1,500 or more but less than $20,000, a state jail felony.

• Jimmy Bryan Powell, 25, for possession of a controlled substance in penalty group one, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

• Jason Dale Thompson, 36, for forgery (by making), a state jail felony.
