Are you ready to get your do-si-do on?
Then make plans to head to Dublin on Tuesday, Sept. 14, when the Dublin Cloverleafs will offer free square dance lessons to new participants.
Cloverleaf member Pat Jones said every year the group offers a couple of free lessons to give those interested in learning to square dance an opportunity to try.
If they like it, they can join the group, which meets at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday at the Rotary Building in Dublin.
Jones has been a member of the group since 2005, and said it's a great way to meet new people while getting in a little exercise.
"The people are wonderful," Jones said. "It's so much fun. It's a non-smoking and alcohol-free environment that everyone can enjoy."
The Cloverleafs are preparing to start their 28th year of square dancing. The group is an area wide dance group with members from Stephenville, Dublin, Comanche, Eastland, Meridian, Carbon, Lipan and Granbury.
On the fourth Saturday of every month, members host a dance and potluck dinner.
Anyone interested in joining the group can enjoy a couple of free lessons starting in September. If they choose to join, they can continue on with lessons, which are offered for $39 for 13 weeks.
