The Stephenville Knights of Columbus will continue their annual Lenten Fish Fry at Newman Hall today. The weekly event will run from 5-7 p.m. every Friday through April 15.

The meal includes fish, cole slaw, corn, hushpuppies, french fries, tea and dessert.

Cost for the all-you-can-eat meal is $8 per person for seniors and children under 12 and $10 for everyone else. Take-out service is available for $10 per plate by calling 965-5693. Benefiting from part of this week’s proceeds is the T.R.E.A.T. program at Tarleton.

According to www.tarleton.edu, T.R.E.A.T. is an equine assisted therapy program that uses horseback riding as a form of therapy. The program provides physical, mental and emotional therapy in a fun environment that encourages client participation. Individuals who suffer from various aliments and afflictions, including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, head injuries, stroke, emotional disturbances, developmental delay, Spina Bifida, Scoliosis and Poliomyelitis reportedly respond best to the therapy program.

T.R.E.A.T. rides cost $10 per half-hour session. Scholarships are available for individuals needing financial assistance.

The program is located in the Equine Center at the university's farm. Rides are offered from 3-5:30 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday.
