E-T Staff Report
Do you think you have the cutest dog in the area?
Then head to Dublin next week and bring your favorite canine (on a leash of course) to the second annual community dog show sponsored by Bradberry's Best and Dublin 4-H Club.
It's just one of the ways the Irish Capital of Texas plans to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
The event will be held on Thursday, March 17, at Celebration Park at the corner of Elm and Grafton streets. Registration will begin at noon and the competition will begin at 1 p.m.
Classes to be judged include longest ears, happiest face, best matching costume, best trick, most personality, cutest, fattest, tallest, best-trained, smallest and ugliest. The “Bradberry’s Best-all-around dog” will be chosen for the show as well.
Trophies, ribbons and "doggie bags" will be awarded to the winners.
All dogs are welcome to parade around the ring. Whether mutt or purebred, and owned by student or senior, there’s sure to be special recognition for all attendees.
All animals must be on a leash and have a current rabies vaccination. The cost to enter is $1 per class or $10 for the entire event.
