With Election Day now a part of history, those still filled with the voting spirit have one last opportunity to cast a local ballot.

Polls open Friday at 11 a.m. at the Recreation Hall at Stephenville City Park as the 43rd Annual Arts, Crafts, and Gift Show opens. You can be a part of the pre-holiday shopping extravaganza by voting for your favorite vendor.

So, while the men go hunting, gather up your gal pals and head to the Rec Hall and pavilion at City Park.

This year, the show will display the wares of more than 110 vendors, with some of your favorites returning for the annual event and some fresh faces bringing new gifts and goodies.

There is sure to be something for everyone, so get a head start on your Christmas shopping. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the holiday season, knowing you have found the perfect gifts for all the perfect people in your life from local crafters and vendors.

Stephenville Parks and Recreation and the local chapter of the Zonta Club sponsor the event.

As is the tasty tradition, the Zonta Club will be serving up the renowned Zonta Burger, so come on an empty stomach. Additional food and drinks will also be available at the concession stand, which benefits the club’s various local charities.

The show will continue throughout the weekend. Hours are from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday, and noon - 4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 918-1292.
