The Stephenville City Council has several issues to discuss tonight.

First, the group, which will include recently elected council members, Martha Cashon and Joe Cude, will discuss the name of the new aquatics complex. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has suggested naming the facility "Splashville."

The council will also discuss fees associated with the new facility, including daily admission, summer passes and parties.

Drew Wells, director of community services, said the complex will open in July.

Wells said in the next couple of weeks, residents will see a boom in construction.

"Some of the pool toys will start going in, the fence will be constructed and the parking lot will be paved," Wells said. "It's very exciting to see."

The council will also consider committee appointments as well as elect a mayor pro-tem.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. tonight in Council Chambers at City Hall.
