The Stephenville City Council will get down to business Tuesday evening with three council committees holding work sessions.

The Personnel Committee, chaired by Pat Shelbourne, will discuss the city’s employee health insurance plan and pay policies.

The Environmental Management Committee, chaired by Russ McDanel, will discuss expansion and operations at the landfill and the city’s new polycart trash collection service.

Finally, the Public Works Committee, chaired by Alan Nix, will discuss a number of issues including the Water Supply Capacity Expansion Project, East Side Sanitary Sewer Professional Services Agreement, the city’s Quantitative Financial Information and Utility Profile, the Monitoring Well Program status report, a Water Conservation Plan/Drought Contingency Plan and an Aquatic Ecosystem restoration Project

The Council Committee Work Session will be held Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Training Room at 298 West Washington.
