Amy Collier is a native of Stephenville and after teaching first grade in San Antonio for the past three years, she is returning to her hometown to join the staff at Chamberlin Elementary School as a second grade teacher.

“I am so excited to get to know my students and have a wonderful year teaching them and building relationships with one another,” Collier said. “I feel very blessed to be getting to teach at Chamberlin.”

Collier is no stranger when it comes to knowing the ins and outs of education since her mother and grandmother both worked and retired from Stephenville ISD.

Collier said she plans to use many different teaching strategies that will reach all of her students.

“I’m excited about working with each student to help them reach their greatest potential and instill in them a love for learning,” she said. “I have always wanted to teach in Stephenville.”
