Donley is a beautiful three or four-year-old black lab up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society and is a sweet boy.

“He’s just so good and is great with other dogs, but we aren’t sure about cats” said ECHS executive director Diane McCoy. “We aren’t sure if he knows basic commands, but he has great potential.”

Donley is neutered and kennel trained.

“He came in on May 26 and is very chill and easy to keep,” McCoy said. “He is afraid of thunderstorms.”

McCoy said the shelter is currently housing more than 150 animals and that adoptions have slowed down.

“But the community has been really good and supportive in bringing donations,” she said.
