One of Stephenville’s most popular restaurants is getting a new look and new menu.

Greer’s Ranch Cafe, located on the courthouse square, will close Monday, June 18, through Thursday, June 21, while improvements are being made. The restaurant will open for dinner on Friday, June 22, featuring its new look.

“We are excited about the changes. We are freshening everything up,” said owner Phil Greer. “I don’t like closing, but it’s the only way we can get it done.”

Greer says the patio will be enclosed and become part of the dining room.

“People like the fact that we take reservations and this will allow us to accommodate large parties all year round,” he said.

The restaurant will also receive a new floor and fresh coat of paint.

“We are also redoing the front of the building to make it look exactly like it did originally, when it was first built,” he said.

The new menu will feature more appetizers and healthier options.

Greer is asking the public for help in designing the new menu.

“We have a survey on Facebook and we are looking for feedback from the community,” he said.

Just before they close, Greer’s will offer a special Father’s Day lunch on Sunday, June 17.

Reservations will be accepted.
