Tarleton State University will implement special operating hours during spring break week, March 12-16. In addition, the university will close all offices on Friday, March 16.
The Dick Smith Library on the Stephenville campus will be closed March 10-11 and 16-18, but open to patrons from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 12-15.
Tarleton’s Recreational Sports Center will have the following modified operating hours during spring break: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 10; 1 to 6 p.m., March 11; 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., March 12-15; 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., March 16; closed on Saturday, March 17; and open from 1 to 11 p.m. on March 18. Regular spring semester hours resume Monday, March 19.
The Barry B. Thompson Student Center (TSC) will close Sunday, March 11, and reopen from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., March 12-15. The TSC will again close March 16 and 17, but reopens from 4 to 11 p.m. on Sunday, March 18. Normal operating hours resume on Monday, March 19.
The Campus Bookstore inside the TSC will maintain hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 12-15, but will be closed March 16-18. Tarleton Station, the on-campus Post Office, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 12-15, and closed March 16-18.
The Tarleton Dining Hall closes at 7 p.m. March 9, and reopens for brunch service at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, March 18. All retail dining locations will be closed during the spring break and resume normal hours on March 19.
Tarleton’s Welcome Center will offer campus tours Monday through Thursday, March 12-15, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., but will be closed along with all university offices on Friday, March 16.
Tarleton’s Police and Parking administrative offices will maintain normal operating hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 12-15, and be closed on Friday, March 16. University police will continue regular patrol shifts throughout the three-day weekend. In the event of a campus emergency during the holiday weekend, call 254-968-9265 or 9-1-1.
