The Stephenville Kiwanis Club will host its annual pancake supper from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Stephenville High School cafeteria.

“This is our annual fundraiser in support of kids and we will have a silent auction that will have a little bit of everything,” said Kiwanis member Dwain Bruner. “We have all the pancakes they can eat, bacon, sausage, coffee and tea. We hope that this will encourage everybody who’s been shut in from the weather and I think Thursday evening there’s suppose to be pretty nice weather.”

Tickets are $10 each — free for children ages five and under — and can be purchased at Bruner Motors, Gifford TV & Electronics, Wood’s Furniture, TexasBank or any Kiwanis Club member.

“We expect to have a large group — we usually have 800 or 900 people — so that’s what we’re shooting for,” Bruner said. “This will help us with our projects we do all year long.”
