The biggest fundraiser for the Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council is a little over a month away and there are still tables available for the 16th annual Ragin’ Cajun taking place from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at City Limits.
“We have only 12 reserved tables left and they are going fast,” said CTFAC board president and Ragin’ Cajun committee chair Kelijon Nance. “Last year’s event sold out, so please call CTFAC to make sure you have a seat.”
Last year’s Ragin’ Cajun raised $35,000 that went to support the CTFAC and the many programs it provides for the community year-round.
A few months ago, the waiter teams were announced and each team will battle it out to see who can raise the most money.
“Ragin’ Cajun features celebrity waiters from the Stephenville area and they are competing for the most money raised for our many programs,” said CTFAC’s Executive Director Julie Crouch Smith. “The winning celebrity waiters team will receive a trophy and bragging rights for a year.”
This year’s teams are James Barton and David Hornsby, Ashley Daniel and Donna Gregory, Kimberly and Ben Dunnahoo, Carmen and Justin Greenhaw, Kari and Ben Kunze, Kim and Bill Leaverton, Brittany Miller and Mayci Johnston, Angie and Robert Nimmo, Charlie and Justin Prater and Shawn Stone and Justin Uptergrove.
Ragin’ Cajun is a Mardi Gras-themed event featuring a crawfish boil, silent auction and live Zydeco music.
Tables that seat 10 are $750 and can be purchased by calling the CTFAC at 254-965-6190.
