Texas Health Stephenville brought its “A” game. And we have the grade to show it.
Texas Health Stephenville made an “A” grade for patient safety according to national performance measures from the latest Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades, published by The Leapfrog Group. The Leapfrog organization uses publicly available quality and safety measures, as well as leadership commitment to creating a safe environment for patients, to come up with the letter grades, which range from A to F.
“We work hard to stay on the forefront of patient safety and that’s something we are proud of,” said Texas Health Stephenville President Christopher Leu. “It’s more than a goal at Texas Health. It’s a culture.”
Texas Health Stephenville was one of five Texas Health Resources hospitals that made an “A” on the recent Leapfrog Hospital Safety Scores listing.
Nationally, only 30 percent of the more than 2,500 hospitals scored were ranked “A.” Individual hospital scores can be viewed at the Hospital Safety Score website at www.hospitalsafetyscore.org.
