It’s a big weekend in Stephenville with some great family-friendly events taking place. Make it a good one!
1. Chamberlin Carnival
Don’t miss an evening of fun when Chamberlin Elementary holds its annual carnival from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at Stephenville City Park. The event will include games, a petting zoo, bounce houses, food, prizes, train and pony rides and a raffle.
2. By Gone Days on the Bosque
Take a trip back in time at the annual By Gone Days on the Bosque taking place from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the Stephenville Historical House Museum. The event will feature music, demonstrations, hands-on activities, tours, a silent auction and historical re-enactments. Free parking will be adjacent to the museum at the Bosque River Trail. 3. Sundown on the Square
One of the biggest events in Stephenville is coming to the downtown square 5-9 p.m. Saturday. Sundown on the Square will feature many fun activities, wine tasting, live music and food, and proceeds will benefit the Stephenville Historical House Museum.
