This week’s featured pet is Tabitha, a three-year-old chocolate and white pitbull, that is up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.

“She is spayed, microchipped, house-trained and isvery sweet,” said ECHS Executive Director Diane McCoy. “She’s good with other dogs, but probably not with cats. Tabitha has a lot of energy and will need room to play and a firm hand for training.”

Tabitha has had three previous owners in her short life, but has been brought back; no fault of her own McCoy said.

“She needs a stable home where she can thrive,” McCoy said. “She’s a smaller pit so is a great size to have inside and take with you everywhere. We will require she be an inside dog — not to always be left outside or tethered.”
