The Erath County Sheriff’s Office sent out a press release today stating that an inmate has passed away following medical complications during a dialysis treatment.
“Erath County Jail staff transported inmate John R. Ingle, 57, for routine dialysis treatment at a Granbury dialysis clinic,” states the release. “During treatment Mr. Ingle had medical complications and EMS were contacted. Mr. Ingle was pronounced dead buy Judge Howell, Hood County Justice of the Peace PCT. 1. Erath County investigators and Granbury police responded to the scene since the death was outside of Erath County. Texas Rangers are investigating the death as standard protocol.”
Ingle had been awaiting trial after his was indicted back in February of 2016 for indecency with a child and aggravated sexual assault.
“Mr. Ingle was released to Wiley Funeral Home,” states the release. “The cause of death is currently under investigation by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.”
