1. Thrift market benefiting CWJC

Enjoy a day of shopping while helping out a great cause at the Will Do Good Thrift Market 50-Off Benefit for the Christian Women’s Job Corps taking place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Dwelling Place Ministries located at 106 N. 2. World Nature Conservation Day

Celebrate nature with the whole family for free at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center’s World Nature Conservation Day from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday in Glen Rose. 3. Morgan Mill Freeze Off

Come out to the Morgan Mill Community Center and come hungry for the homemade ice cream freeze off taking place from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and includes a BBQ sandwich, chips, a drink and all the homemade ice cream you can eat.
