An Erath County jury has indicted 12 individuals including one man on two third degree felonies.

Cuarderes Ditrel Mitchell, 19, has been indicted on two counts of assault on a public servant.

“Mitchell was being moved to a restraint chair for the safety of himself and officers at which time Mitchell refused commands to go into the chair and resisted officer by fighting with Corrections Officers who were assigned to supervise Mitchell,” states an affidavit submitted for probably cause determination. “During the altercation while attempting to restrain Mitchell, he hit a Correction’s Officer in the face with a closed fist causing pain to that officer. Mitchell, also while attempting to be restrained, bit another Correction’s Officer on the right forearm.”

Mitchell was booked into the Erath County Jail on June 7 on a combined bond of $10,500.

Others indicted include:

Shannon Dewest Allison, 37, for two counts of possession of a substance — methamphetamine and heroin — in penalty group one, less than one gram; a state jail felony.

Edward Darrell Anderson, 60, for manufacture of delivery of a substance in penalty group one, less than one gram; a state jail felony.

Amanda Josefina Cantu, 35, for possession of a substance in penalty group one, less than one gram; a state jail felony.

Marco Antonio Esparza, 21, for possession of a substance in penalty group one, less than one gram; a state jail felony.

Joe Lee Henderson, 22, for possession of marijuana — five pounds or less but more than four ounces; a state jail felony.

Colby Austin Higgins, 29, for two counts of possession of a substance — methamphetamine and heroin — in penalty group one, less than one gram; a state jail felony.

Jesse Israel Loredo, 40, for unauthorized use of a vehicle; a state jail felony.

Josue Martinez, 22, for possession of marijuana — five pounds or less, but more than four ounces; a state jail felony.

Jeffery Wayne Moore, 52, for possession of a substance in penalty group one, less than one gram; a state jail felony.

Jeramy Lynn Morgan, 40, for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence; a third degree felony.

Christal Ann Walker, 32, for manufacture or delivery of a substance in penalty group one — four grams or more, but less than 200 grams; a first degree felony.
