1. Texas Health Maternity Orientation

If you’re expecting, don’t miss Texas Health Hospital Stephenville’s free maternity orientation taking place from 12-1 p.m. today in the hospital's lobby. Families will learn what to expect during pregnancy and about their baby, their body and how the hospital can support them through the journey. 

2. Tarleton Stampede Rodeo

Don’t miss out on some great rodeo action at Tarleton State University’s 52nd annual Stampede Intercollegiate Southwest Region Rodeo taking place at 7:30 p.m. today-Sunday at Lone Star Arena. Admission is $10 for adults.

3. Earth Day Celebration at Fossil Rim

Round up the kiddos and celebrate Earth Day at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday in Glen Rose. The event will feature fun learning stations at the overlook and other activities. For more information call 254-897-2960.

4. Honeybee Soccer State Championship Parade

Show your support and congratulate the Stephenville High School Honeybee soccer team after their state championship win with a parade starting at 11 a.m. Saturday around the high school. The girls made history with the first ever state soccer championship.

5. Zombie Run benefiting SHS Theatre

Get ready to test your running skills against a horde of zombies at the Stephenville High School theatre’s Zombie Run 5K benefit starting at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Bosque River Trail. Race day registration can be done for $30 and all proceeds go to the SHS theatre and its Behind the Spotlight Scholarship.
