One of Stephenville High School's own took part in the annual Boston Marathon Monday and completed the 26.2 mile endurance test.

Danny Woodward, a SHS graduate from 1996, crossed the finish line wearing his bib with the numbers 2150 across his chest.

Woodward, who now lives in Virginia, completed the race in a time of 3:21.19 which saw him travel from Hopkinton Green to Boylston Street.

The Boston Marathon is the world's oldest annual marathon having been first run in 1897.
