The Stephenville golf teams had a solid showing Wednesday in the Stephenville Optimist Invitational with both teams winning in their final tournament before Spring Break.
The Yellow Jackets were split up into two teams and finished No. 1 and No. 2 in the final standings with the No. 1 team shooting a combined 320 and the No. 2's shooting a 410.
The No. 1 team was compiled of Kendall Roberts (80), Bunker Funderburgh (78), Rosser Orr (92), Jake Henrickson (80) and Tyler Lane (82).
The other team included Jaren Dahl (104), Baylor Brooks (101), Justin Cockerell (112), Kaleb Moore (138) and Tyler Scouten (93).
Other Stephenville golfers competing included Foster Brumbaugh (119), Trent Dietrich (114) and Hayden Monk (133).
Overall Funderburgh shot the lowest round on the day, with Henrickson and Roberts tying for the second lowest.
On the girls' side the Honeybees also reigned supreme in their contest.
The team combined for a 379 on the day, including an impressive tournament low 93 from Maddi Grimes. Also on the team was Taylor Harpole (95), Maycee Decker (95), Morgan Kinsey (96) and Allee Mainord (103).
Also competing for the Honeybees was Maren Isham (101), Tatum Dobson (101) and Peyton Barberee (105).
