Both Tarleton basketball teams will continue their stellar seasons this weekend as they travel to Colorado to take part in their respective NCAA South Central Regional tournaments. 

The TexAnns will travel to Colorado State-Pueblo where they were drawn as the No. 8 seed after claiming the Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship over the weekend to take on tournament hosts CS-Pueblo on Friday. The game will tip-off at 6:30 p.m. CST time. 

The Thunderwolves finished the season with an impressive 27-3 record. The two teams also have played one another already this season with the TexAnns falling in Pueblo, 76-64, back in mid-November. 

The Texans will also be traveling to Colorado, but their destination is the city of Golden and Colorado School of Mines. 

Mines are the Champions of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and finished the season with a 27-4 record. They last hosted the regional back in 2012. 

Tarleton, who was named the regional's No. 4 seed, will hit the floor on Saturday against No. 5 Fort Lewis (CO) at 7:30 p.m. 

The Skyhawks finished the year with a 25-6 record, including an 88-87 win over Eastern New Mexico and a 90-82 loss against West Texas A&M early in the season.
