Cross Timbers Family Services will host its 9th annual Better Beginnings Benefit at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at The N at Hardway Ranch.
The event will include a dinner of sirloin kabobs, live and silent auctions and entertainment by The Moore Experience.
This year's theme is A Night at the Museum, and the organization, which helps victims of violent crime, will celebrate 25 years of service.
“The evening will be about celebrating the evolution of the agency and our service over the past 25 years,” said CTFS Executive Director Jodee Lucero. “We will also be celebrating the community, which has been so wonderful in supporting us over the years.”
CTFS assists about 300 victims of violent crime each year.
“We assist with crisis intervention immediately following a violent episode,” Lucero said. “That includes help with finding a safe place to stay and ongoing services throughout their interaction with law enforcement, the court system and counseling.”
Individual tickets to the event can be purchased for $60 or $500 for a table of 8 from the Cross Timbers Family Services office or any board member.
