As the Christmas approaches so do many holiday events in the area, including Rocky Point Wee School’s free Holiday Bazaar happening from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Rocky Point Baptist Church, 3595 County Rd. 178, in Stephenville.

“We will have a variety of vendors here; consultants from Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Tupperware, Norwex, clothing boutiques and people who make homemade crafts,” Rocky Point teacher and special events coordinator JP Mills said. “We hope people can come here to get some Christmas shopping done, while supporting a great cause. “Funds raised help support classroom activities, playground equipment and various field trips and events throughout the year.”

Concessions will also be available for attendees and the funds raised from that will go towards Rocky Point’s upcoming mission trips and summer activities.

“Last year was our first time to host this event and we hope to make it an annual thing,” Mills said.

Vendor spaces may still be available for $50 — with proceeds benefitting the school — and those interested in setting up a booth can contact Mills at 254-485-2214 or email jp.nichole.mills@hotmail.com.

Though the vendor fee goes towards the school, any money vendors make at their booths is theirs to keep.

“What I love about our bazaar is that not only is it a fundraiser for the school, but it helps support and promote the vendors with small businesses in our community,” Mills said.
