Kenneth and Melanie Black of Hico and George and Jan Hamilton of Marble Falls announce the engagement of their daughter, Teri Jean Hamilton, to Zachery Stephen Wood. Zack is the son of Don Wood of Pismo Beach, Calif., and Cheryl Wood of Denver, Colo.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Cotton and Linda Stockstill of Gorman, Katie Black of Hico, and the late Jack and Jean Hamilton of Stephenville. Teri earned her masters degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is currently employed at Burger Rehabilitation Systems out of Folsom, Calif.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Deanna Johnson and the late Jimmy Johnson of Coalinga, Calif., and the late James and Evalyn Wood of Coalinga, Calif. Zack is a graduate of California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, Calif. He is currently employed at Wood Brothers Inc. in Lemoore, Calif. Zack and Teri will reside in Clovis, Calif.

A wedding is planned for Saturday, June 14, 2008, at The Horseshoe Bay Resort Yacht Club in Horseshoe Bay.
