• The Hook Family Reunion will be held at 10 a.m. at the American Legion Hall, located at 801 E. Washington Street in Stephenville. Family and friends are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring a covered dish and something for the auction.

Monday,

October 5

• The Stephenville Area Aggie Moms will meet from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Boucher, Morgan and Young conference room.

• Texas Health Harris Methodist Stephenville Hospital auxiliary is sponsoring a Scrub Sale from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. in the hospital’s Belknap Lobby. Scrubs, lab coats, jackets, Crocs, stethoscopes and accessories will be available for purchase. The public is invited to attend.

• Stephenville Masonic Lodge No. 267 will meet at 7 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6.

• The Erath County Association of Retired School Employees will meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Graham Street Church of Christ Family Center. The program speaker will be TRTA Executive Director Tim Lee. 

• Story Hour will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Stephenville Public Library. “Fall” into the pumpkin patch is the topic. 

• A free knitting/crochet group will meet at the Stephenville Public Library from 4:30-6 p.m. pros and newbies are welcome.

• Genealogy help with Eloise Horak from 10 a.m.-noon at the Stephenville Public Library.

October 8

• The Stephenville Music Club will meet at noon in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church. The program will feature the life and music of Hank Williams, Sr. with a special performance by Jon Young. Members are encouraged to wear western attire. A covered dish luncheon will follow. • The By Gone Days on the Bosque will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Stephenville Historical Museum, located at 525 E. Washington Street.

• “Game on” from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Stephenville Public Library for ages 10-17. Attendees must have a library card to participate in the Wii and board games. Snacks will be served.
