Genealogy help with Eloise Horak from 10 a.m.-noon at the Stephenville Public Library.
There will be a fall festival from 2-6 p.m. at the downtown square and plaza in Stephenville. Vendor booth spaces are available for a minimal fee. Vendor booths and free activities for kids will be mixed together this year to generate shopping and activities around the downtown area. Electricity is available upon request. Good Tree Retirement will host a Trick or Treat festival at 4 p.m. There will be food, music and games for the kids. The public is invited to attend. For more information, call 965-9897.
The Erath County Bar Association is hosting the third annual estate planning seminar from 9 a.m.-noon on the second floor of the Erath County Courthouse. The free event will give the public an opportunity to ask questions about wills, trusts, estate planning and probate. Refreshments will be provided.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Stephenville Hospital Auxiliary will host a book and gift fair from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Belknap lobby of the hospital. Quality books for all ages as well as unique gifts at a great savings will be available. The Erath County Association of Retired School Employees will meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Graham Street Church of Christ Family Center. The guest speaker will be Bob Fain.
St. Lukes Episcopal Church will host its 54th annual Mexican supper. The noon buffet will be served from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. The traditional enchilada supper will be served from 5-8 p.m. Adult plates are $7 and childs plates are $3. Takeout is also available by calling 968-6949.
