A late night shopper got more than she bargained for Tuesday night when she attempted to exit a local retailer.

According to Cpt. Jason King with the Stephenville Police Department, dispatchers received a call around 10:30 p.m. from a female who said she was locked inside the store with no employees present and security alarms sounding.

King said at about the same time, the alarm company called police to report a possible break in.

Police officers and a store representative went to the shopping spot to release the pinned present-seeker.
