Dublin ISD will be hiring more teachers and possibly reassigning responsibilities after nearly one-fifth of their faculty and staff will not return to campus next year.

District administrators accepted resignations from 14 teachers and staff members and the board of trustees unanimously voted to terminate four probationary teacher's contracts. Those include Natalie Farago, Leta Pugh, Janet Smith and Jill Francis.

It is unclear how DISD will fill vacant positions as calls to officials were not returned Friday afternoon.

The district does have plans to attend Tarleton State Unviersity's Teacher Job Fair on April 5 where students will be seeking their position in education.
