DALLAS (AP) — Dallas firefighters responding to a house fire that was too intense initially to make entry later discovered the body of a man inside.
After arriving at the fire early Friday morning, Dallas Fire-Rescue found that the flames coming from the one-story residence were too intense to enter.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said in a news release that once the fire was "knocked down," the body of the man was found. He was pronounced dead at the scene and the medical examiner has been notified.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
