We also saw the end of the 2013-14 Texas High School Rodeo Association Region III rodeo season at Lone Star Arena. Like the Junior High, there were many Stephenville High School and local home schooled students who competed in the Region Finals. These cowboys and cowgirls were also vying for a top 10 place to be able to move on to the THSRA State Finals held in Abilene.

Saturday night started off the first round of the High School Finals with our Senior Ride where Stephenville High School graduating seniors Jacob Lewis and Tate Elston presented their parents with words of thanks and a rose. Then we went right into the rodeo action of Round 1 with the rough stock events.

Jacob was sidelined from competing during the Region Finals in the Saddle Bronc riding with a broken foot, but he still managed to finish 3rd for the year end.
