Dally Friedrich improved four shots from Friday to Saturday and finished fifth in tournament play at Squaw Valley in Glen Rose, where she won last year's District 7-3A girls title.

Friedrich, a senior, fired a round of 82 on Friday before improving to 78 Saturday for a total of 160.

The Honeybees scored 796 as a team, improving from a 405 on Friday to a 391 on Saturday. Conditions were not ideal for either round. Friday was highlighted by a strong wind with gusts well over 30 miles per hour, and much of Saturday's round was played in a rainy mist.

Sydney Brown totaled 189, Breanna Wooley 236, Allison Sanchez 224 and Morgan Kinsey 227. Each team's score consists of its top four individual totals in each round.

The Yellow Jackets fired two rounds of 395 for a total of 790. Bunker Funderburgh led the way, shooting a 97 Friday then shaving nine strokes for an 88 on Saturday, giving the freshman a total of 185.

Grant Isham scored 187, Reed Lemons 200 and Jake Henriksen 218. Tyler Isham started with a 125 on Friday and did not turn in a complete score on Saturday.
