Stephenville divided up its pitching, played without leading hitter Ben Martin and still tied Azle 3-3 in a non-district road challenge Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets picked up two hits each from Brock Morrison and Daniel Bullard, and the tandem combined to score all three runs. Noah Hobbs had two RBIs and Bullard the other.

Hobbs and Colby Woodard each pitched two innings, Brock Morrison one and Maddux Conger three for the Jackets. Conger and Hobbs didn't allow a hit, Morrison surrendered one and Woodard yielded three.

It was a break from District 7-3A play for the Jackets, who scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to top Alvarado 3-2 Friday night. Both Alvarado runs were unearned as Stephenville senior Daniel Bullard fired a no hitter.

SHS takes its 8-4-1 mark and 2-0 7-3A record to Venus this evening. The district contest starts at 7:30 p.m.
