Erath County commissioners will discuss a request from the Cross Timbers Soil and Water Conservation, an agreement creating a multi-jurisdictional emergency response team and other items Monday at the Erath County Courthouse.

According to County Judge Tab Thompson, commissioners will discuss creating a team of emergency responders from Erath County who will be available to assist other areas in case of an emergency. These types of units or teams would consist of members of several local fire and police departments and would be used in cases like the explosion in West or the tornadoes in Granbury last year.

In other business, commissioners will consider motions to purchase a haul truck for Precinct 1, base material, a lease agreement with Government Capital and approving the final plat for Jacob Crawley's Rural Development project.

Before adjourning, commissioners will also consider a request from the Cross Timbers Soil and Water Conservation District as discuss the possible dust issues on CR 120 with resident Larry Angerhofer.
