The Stephenville ISD board of trustees will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the board room of the SISD administration building.

The main topic on the agenda is the official calling for school board elections.

Seats up for re-election include Place 6, held by Ora Lee Leath, and Place 7, held by Doug McLemore.

According to SISD Superintendent Dr. Darrell Floyd, Ora Lee Leeth will not run for another three year term.

"Mrs. Leeth has been a member of our school board since 2001 and done a great job," Floyd said. "She has always tried to make decisions that are in the best interest of students and employees. We will miss her greatly and we sincerely thank her for her service."

Doug McLemore has confirmed he will seek another term.

The first day to file to run for the school board is Jan. 29.

The board will also consider Tuesday the approval of the 2014-15 school calendar.

Some notable dates up for approval include school beginning on Aug. 25, spring break to be March 9-13 and the last day of school to be on May 29.
