A group of Dublin teenagers is being detained after confessing to burglarizing the old junior high school in Dublin and Kingdom Threads, a ministry of First Baptist Church that gives clothes to the needy.
"We have interviewed two suspects so far and they are being detained," said Chief Shawn Fullagar. "We will be interviewing a third (Thursday) and expect to detain him as well."
Fullagar said good police and cooperation among officers helped the department solve the case. The suspects first broke into the school and stole electronics, then hit Kingdom Threads where they got away with clothes.
A witness who saw the boys inside Kingdom Threads, scared them off, and was able to give police a description.
From there, police developed suspects and began interviews.
Fullagar said two of the suspects have already confessed.
They are reportedly all teenagers attending school in Dublin.
