The Graham Street Church of Christ had a big time turnout Wednesday evening as patrons were served a warm meal by volunteers during the annual Community Christmas Dinner.

Attendees enjoyed turkey and dressing, corn, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and a large selection of desserts.

Addison Havens, 11, helped serve those in line.

"I really like helping and serving other people in the community and it's fun," Havens said.

The church also offered delivery to those who couldn't make the trip.

"This entire thing is a great event and I came out to serve my community and deliver meals to shut-ins who don't have another way to receive a meal. An event like this really shows how close the community can be," said Quincy Hough, a Tarleton State University student representing Texans For Christ.

Nancy Wiggins attended the event for the second time.

"I really enjoy this whole thing and I always meet a lot of people. It's Christmas time and to me this time of the year is for family and friends and this really makes it great," she said.
