Lone Star Lanes is the latest casualty from the recent ice storm that caused hundreds of wrecks across Central Texas and kept kids out of school for days.
About 8 p.m. Tuesday, employees noticed the ceiling was sagging and called Oncor to turn off power to the building.
Stephenville Fire Marshal Cody Derek said crews ordered a full evacuation of the building pending an inspection by the city.
"The ice from the roof had collected and the weight bent the bracers and beams holding up the roof," Derek said Wednesday. "We have ordered the evacuation to remain in place and no one is to occupy the building until a structural engineer can assess the damages and steps can be taken to repair the damage."
