Tarleton State moved up three spots to No. 11 on the men's side and two spots to No. 22 on the women's side when the NCAA Division II coaches polls were released Tuesday.

The Texans' only game last week was a 90-35 in-region victory over Oklahoma Panhandle State, a member of the Heartland Conference. The Tarleton men are 7-0 for the first time as a senior college.

The TexAnns' only game last week was a 104-36 thrashing of Arlington Baptist College. They improved to 7-1 overall with their fourth straight win.

The Tarleton teams are idle until Dec. 17 when the women host Cedarville (Ohio) at 6 p.m., followed by the men against McMurry at 8 p.m. The Texans travel to Las Vegas the following weekend for games against Central Washington on Dec. 21 and No. 5 Western Washington on Dec. 22.
