Stephenville split two games in tournament action in Glen Rose Thursday before cancellation of the event Friday and Saturday.

The Honeybees dominated overmatched Granbury North Central Texas Academy - formerly Happy HIll - winning 69-24 behind a 41-point first half.

Lyndi Graham led the varsity Bees in scoring for the first time with 12 points while Dally Friedrich and Tiara Green joined her in double figures with 10 each. Breanna Wooley netted eight and Kourtney Seaton six.

The Bees were without Dally Friedrich for the second game and fell to Burleson Centennial 40-34.

"We just couldn't make anything, I mean we couldn't get anything to fall" said Stephenville head coach Alan Thorpe. "I think a big part of it was just sitting around the gym all day. We were supposed to play at 10 (Friday morning), but we wanted to try and get it in. We played in the morning then sat around until (4 p.m.) and played again."

Bouchey scored eight, Green seven and Seaton six to lead the Honeybees. Friedrich had to leave for a state FFA competition in Houston.

The Bees are idle Tuesday and are back in tournament action Thursday through Saturday, this time in Granbury.
